Philosophy: We provide an opportunity for U8 players in our IM/Select Program with a birth year of 2016/2017, in the community, or outside of the community to take part in our U8 Pre-travel program. This is meant to provide professional training to players who age below our U9 Travel teams. This is an introductory into what Travel soccer may look like to gauge a player and family’s interest into the program. It is used as a supplemental training tool, and also includes a ton of fun year-round soccer competition which goes unmatched.

Schedule: *Weather Permitting*

Fall (Start: End of August)

• 6-8 weeks of outdoor training 1x/week with professional licensed trainers
• 3-4 ‘Festivals’ which are held locally approximately every other weekend. These festivals are one day events which the team competes in a couple 4v4 games vs other clubs. We use Professional trainers, junior coaching staff, and parent volunteers to help coach the festivals.

Winter

• 5 indoor/futsal training sessions with professional licensed trainers.

Spring

• 4-5 weeks outdoor training with professional licensed trainers.
• 7v7 Tournament to finish the season and prepare for U9 7v7 Travel. Professional trainer to coach tournament.

Additional:

• Uniform Top
• Opportunity to occasionally ‘play-up’ on our U9 Travel Teams when needed.
• Opportunities over the year to ‘train-up’ with our U9 Travel Team.
