2023-24 RANGER FUTSAL CAMP
HFC’s Ranger Futsal Academy provides a winter futsal camp for individual players - all levels including non-HFC players.

HFC Executive Director Marc Meoli, and Futsal Directors Nick Marculo, and Audrey Anderson have organized a futsal camp for all U8-U14 players to train and play during the week off from school for the holiday. Trainers Frank Demas, Maddie Anderson, Seth Michalak, Erin Stevenson, Ty Quintois, Nicole Brown, Shane Velez, Bella Touzeau Ethan Lacher and Leah Malone will help work with the players to promote speed play and off-the-ball movement in the Futsal training academy. Futsal is designed with speed in mind—the hard floor speeds up the ball, the ball is dense and rolls quickly, and the 4 second rule keeps players moving fast off the ball.

To accompany this, we work through technical speed in turning, dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting- as well as physical speed with speed exercises and muscle development.  

This program is open to all Travel and Select players

Deadline to Register: 12/18/23

The Ranger Futsal Academy is open to Travel and Select players born in 2010 through 2016. The specific age-groups for play will  be determined based on the number of players in each birth year that register.

IMPORTANT:

• Arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to starting time
• Wear Futsal shoes or flats (Sneakers are fine). No Soccer cleats please.
• Wear shin guards
• Do not bring soccer balls
• Bring water bottle.
